About 1385 Business Park

1385 Business Park is owned and operated by Chris and Abbey Karel. We are North Texas residents who bring complementary backgrounds in construction, electrical, business development, operations, and client service to the property. We are personally dedicated to the development and day-to-day operation of the park — from planning new buildings and coordinating improvements to leasing and working directly with our tenants.

Chris is a former master electrician and construction manager with extensive experience in commercial construction and building systems. His background provides practical knowledge of how buildings are designed, constructed, maintained, and adapted for the businesses that use them. He is closely involved in construction, tenant improvements, maintenance, and the continued development of the property.

Abbey brings a background in business development, strategy, operations, and client leadership. Prior to focusing on the family business, she held senior business development and growth leadership roles working with major national brands. Her experience centers on understanding business needs, managing complex projects and relationships, and building long-term partnerships. Abbey oversees leasing, tenant communication, project coordination, and the financial and operational side of the property.

Together, we take a hands-on approach to 1385 Business Park. We work directly with tenants, coordinate build-outs and property improvements, maintain the buildings and grounds, and plan each new phase of development with careful attention to how the property looks and functions.

Our goal is to provide clean, well-maintained, functional commercial space for businesses that need room to work, store equipment, park vehicles, and grow. We are deeply involved in shaping the success of the property.
